Growing up in New Zealand, I first got interested in photography at about the age of 13. My brother had a Pentax SLR and I would, as younger brothers do, follow him with interest. I even got to use it occasionally.
When I returned to London with my family, aged 17, I started assisting professional photographers to develop my skills and a few years later took the plunge as a freelance travel photographer.
Since then I’ve clicked my way around the world, capturing unique perspectives on many iconic and far-flung places – some changed beyond recognition and some gone forever.
Being out and about, camera in hand, is still one of my favourite things. You just never know when that magic moment will turn up
The prints I am selling here are all architectural Black & White photographs from my place of birth, London, and where I have lived for the last 45+ years.
